Si esamina la produzione scientifica di Salvatore Fodale, basata sullo studio di documenti inediti custoditi in archivi italiani e spagnoli. Lo studioso ha posto al centro della sua ricerca i rapporti tra potere ecclesiastico e potere politico dall’età normanna al Quattrocento, nelle sue molteplici sfaccettature, dedicando ampio spazio allo Scisma d’Occidente e agli ordini religiosi. L’orizzonte geografico delle sue ricerche ha spaziato nel contesto mediterraneo, includendo la Sicilia, la Sardegna, l’Aragona, la Grecia e il Maghreb. Pētījums ir veltīts komparatīvajai reliģiski-filozofisko ideju problemātikai un mēģinājumam saskatīt saikni starp idejām un to arhetipiski empīrisko zemtekstu. Lai salīdzinātu Tibetas budisma un hesihasma antropoloģiskās idejas un to soterioloģiski empīriskās konsekvences, ir izmantota M. Eliades fenomenoloģiskā metode. Izņemot arhetipiskā kopsaucēja meklējumus, darbā ir analizētas divu tradīciju atšķirības ar A. Pjerisa izstrādātās reliģiju klasifikācijas palīdzību. Abstract This article analyses excerpts from letters sent by French Reformed congregations and politically-engaged Calvinist laymen in 1562. In these dispatches, the churches, lay notables, and local magistrates of Montpellier, Grenoble, Gap, Nîmes, Issoire and Rouen requested pastors to Geneva or thanked the town’s authorities for ministers previously sent there. However, these six letters were not addressed to the Venerable Company of Pastors, but specifically to the syndics and Small Council of Geneva. Masteroppgave i religion- Universitetet i Agder 2010 Menigheten Samfundet er et konservativt trossamfunn med menigheter i Kristiansand og Egersund. Ved utgangen av 2009 hadde menigheten i Kristiansand 1420 medlemmer og menigheten i Egersund hadde ca 500 medlemmer. Samfundet ble grunnlagt i 1890 etter at nye ritualer var innført i Statskirken. Samfundet mente at disse ritualene avvek fra evangeliskluthersk teologi, slik den hadde vært praktisert i Statskirken fra reformasjonens dager. I undersøkelsen min ønsket jeg å finne ut om det hadde skjedd noen endring i Menigheten Samfundet i løpet av de siste 15-20 årene, og hvordan endring ble forstått og legitimert. Masteroppgave i religion- Universitetet i Agder 2010 The general theory and methodology offered by Margaret Archer under the name of “the morphogenetic approach” represents the major developments within critical realist social theory. Archer combines the critical realist ontology of stratified reality and complex causality with emergence- and interest theory in an innovative framework for social-scientific analysis. By taking this framework to the sociology of religion this thesis sheds light on familiar topics from a novel angle.
